Lena’s career began in the fashion world as an international model in the 80‘s working with agents in Paris, Milan, London and NY as a Ford model. She travelled throughout the world and shot with some of the best photographers and clients, but most importantly she had the opportunity to sit in the makeup chair of some of the most incredible makeup artists in the world.  She realized early in her model career that there was a huge difference between good and bad makeup. Lena was inspired to learn from the best makeup artists who willingly shared their knowledge as she soon developed her own unique style.

Growing up in Sweden influences her european sense for beauty and style which really shines through in her work. Over these past years Lena has worked with many celebrities, models, and actors - hundreds of faces of all ages & ethnicities. She realizes how important it is to the whole production team that the talent’s hair and makeup is done with  professionalism and that they feel beautiful in front of the camera.

Lena’s work appears on many TV shows (Marriage Ref, TONY Awards, Last Comic Standing, ESPN Sunday Night Baseball, MTV VMA Awards Tour, & Celebrity Apprentice), magazines (201, Swedish Cosmopolitan & ELLE), and red carpet events (Andie MacDowell - WE TV).  One of her claims to fame is giving Justin Bieber his signature “Bieber” haircut for his Arthur Ashe Kid’s Day performance for CBS in August of 2009. She enjoys working in a wide variety of media - TV, Print, Commercials, Corporate Headshots, and Fashion Shows. She is proficient with sportscasters, politicians, businesspeople, models, actors, glamour, runway, and bridal.
